At the beginning of the month, the two factories in Shanghai reduced the negative operation, carried out prevention and control in many places, blocked logistics and transportation, difficult shipment of enterprises, and poor reception in the downstream. However, the downstream was affected by the epidemic, the terminal industry was depressed, the market demand was weak, the overall atmosphere was cold, traders offered profits for shipment, the price was continuously reduced, the on-site trading was still not improved, and the TDI market continued to operate in a weak position.

The upstream toluene market fluctuated and sorted out. On April 28, the price was 7310 yuan / ton, down 28.31% from 7690 yuan / ton at the beginning of the month. Affected by public health events, the market demand for toluene was weak at the beginning of the month, the on-site logistics and transportation were blocked, the demand for gasoline decreased, and the price fell continuously. Since the late mid month, with the rebound of gasoline prices, market transactions have improved, the industry has a good attitude, and the price of toluene has rebounded. According to the analysis of TDI data division of business society, at present, the downstream demand of the domestic TDI market is weak, the terminal purchase is just needed, there is no pressure on the supplier’s inventory, and the goods holders sell goods at a profit. However, due to logistics restrictions, the market trading progress is slow, and the on-site operators have a strong wait-and-see mentality. It is expected that the short-term TDI market will be put into operation.
